Gerep launched its mobile app less than a year ago. This new digital tool is part of Gerep’s digital strategy that began in 2017 with the creation of a customer area enabling insureds to manage their policy online. The app that was launched in October 2020 is designed to round off this digital facility. Today it is the best rated complementary health insurance app in the Apple and Android stores[1].


App gets off to a flying start…

We decided to design a web app after taking note of insureds’ needs expressed in annual satisfaction surveys, backed up by our analysis of connexion data for our website.

When it was launched in October 2020, the app was immediately popular among insureds with over 15,000 downloads in 7 weeks. Today more than 30% of them say they prefer using the app rather than the website customer area[2].

…and rises to top place among complementary health insurance apps

In line with its human and digital values, Gerep equipped its app, at the beginning of the summer, with a rating module so as to collect insureds’ opinions. Once again, satisfaction was evident, as seen in various customer reviews in each of the stores.

With a rating of 4.7 out of 5 in the Apple and Android stores, the Gerep app is the best rated complementary health insurance app! It is even way ahead of Alan, which is often cited as a reference in terms of digital health Insurance.

In order to provide transparency and objectivity, the opinions expressed by Gerep insureds are now certified by Net Reviews, a leader in the verification of opinions collected online.
